How I can register on the GDG Online Training Portal?

I have forgotten my password, how can I reset it?
Please use RESET function on the GDG LMS Home Page under Login section.

Can I pause a Training or a Test Questionnaire and then resume again?
No. You should complete the Training or Test within given time restriction, if any. If Training or Test do not have any time restriction, then you are free to view the content, but only once and with no pause<>resume.

Will I get a Certificate upon successful completion of the Training?
Yes. You will be able to download a Certificate once the Training and Test is completed successfully.

What will happen if I fail to complete the Test Questionnaire successfully?
You will not get a Certificate. Status and result of this Test will show this in your User Profile. You will need to contact GDG Professionals via training@gdgtraining.com if you would like to have another attempt.

Do I have a second chance if I fail at the first attempt? Will this be free or will I need to do another payment?
No. You will not have extra attempts by default. You will need to contact GDG Professionals via training@gdgtraining.com if you would like to have another attempt.

Are you providing Trainings in the office and how can I enroll to the instructor-led course?

How do I track my training results?
You can track the current status and all results of your trainings via User Profile page.

Can I share my login credentials with others?
No. Your login is exclusive to you.

How frequently is the Online Training Portal content updated?
We are continuously adding new Training Courses to our programme. Please check 'Explore Our Training List' link to see the list of the courses available online.

Why can’t I watch the videos?
Some users have difficulty getting the videos to download due to high security settings on their computers or servers. This is common in schools or workplaces. Try accessing the site through an alternative computer (i.e. at your home). You can also try accessing the site through an alternative web browser. For example, if you are using Internet Explorer, try using Mozilla or Google Chrome.

Can I download the learning courses?
The courses can only be watched online as streaming video. They cannot be downloaded to your computer.

Yes you can. Supported Mobile Devices are iPad iOS 5+ and Android 3.0+ tablets.

Why can’t I log in?
Please make sure you are using the correct log in name and password. If you have forgotten your password, please select the “Forgot Your Password?” link and a new one will be mailed to your registered email address.

How can I launch the training?
Please login to your User Profile account using Online Training Portal credentials and click on the Launch button next to the Training Course name

I do not receive any emails from GDG Online Training Portal. What is the problem?
Depending on the protection level that you set for the Junk/Spam Email Filter, some legitimate email messages might be moved to the your Junk/Spam E-mail folder. You should periodically review the messages in the Junk/Spam E-mail folder so that you aren’t missing any messages that you want to see. Click on the message from portal@gdgtraining.com and confirm that you don’t want it to be marked as junk - Not Junk.

What should I do if I have lost my internet connection while training or accidentally closed the browser?
Status of this Training will show 'Incomplete' in your User Profile. You will need to contact GDG Professionals via training@gdgtraining.com if you would like to have another attempt.

I have failed to pass the Training or Test Questionnaire in the allocated time. What should I do?

2Content copyright - Security and copyright aspects of our training content and test questionnaires are that they are not downloadable from the system with an exception of the certificate generated in PDF format. The only way to view them will be to log in as a registered user and go to the User Profile page, where training content will be available to be viewed, but not downloaded. Test Questionnaire will be not available and will be accessible only at the time of test.

4Hot Keys in Browsers - All context menus and some hot keys of browsers will be blocked to achieve the security goals. You cannot use hot keys while passing the Training or Test Questionnaire.
5Login - Type in your registered email address and Online Training Portal password.
6Reset Password - Log in to your User Profile page, press on your User Name at the top, select 'Reset Password' option and follow the instructions on the screen.
7Videos and Pictures copyright - Videos and pictures in the training content are frozen from downloading through the browser’s window or copying URL/link and extracting from the system to a local source.
1Certificate - Highlight (select) the Training in your User Profile page and you will see your Results on the screen. Then click on the ‘Download’ button and you will get your Certificate.
2Commands - When Training is available for the user, it will have 'Launch' option here.
3Contact Us button - Write your feedback or send any queries via 'Contact Us' function. Fill in the mandatory fields as indicated. We will review your message and answer as soon as possible.
4Date Assigned - Shows Training Date Assigned to the User.

14User Profile Page - After successful login to the portal, you will access personal User Profile page with full information about your trainings.
1Back and Next buttons - Use these buttons to browse within the Training content. Stay focused as there might be Time Restriction applied.
2Contact Us button - Write your feedback or send any queries via 'Contact Us' function. Fill in the mandatory fields as indicated. We will review your message and answer as soon as possible.

4Full Screen button - Use this button to switch the user interface view to the full screen mode durin the Training or Test Questionnaire. Hit ESC key on your keyboard to return to the standard user interface view. Full Screen function is available only for desktop computers and laptops.

6Scroll bar - Use this function at the right side of the Training Content slide to scroll down to read the full information (if applicable).
7Start Training Button - When ready to start the Training, click on this button. Please start the Training only when you have read all Instructions and are sure that you are ready. You will not be able to go back after this stage.
8Time Restriction - We might set time restriction for the Training. You will need to pass training in the allotted time. Once time is finished, Training will automatically stop and you will need to follow instructions on the screen.
9Trainings without Test Questionnaire - It should be noted that there might exist trainings where no test questionnaire will be related to them. In that case the mechanism of ensuring that user did read the content, pagination and approximate time factor per page read will be taken into account while considering the final results. At the end of the content read, meaning user went through all the Training Content slides, Summary page will be shown with your results.
1'Go To Test Questionnaire Section' - Once Training content is read and all slides are completed you are directed to the next screen. Click on this button to start the Questionnaire.
2Contact Us button - Write your feedback or send any queries via 'Contact Us' function. Fill in the mandatory fields as indicated. We will review your message and answer as soon as possible.

6Pass Criteria - User should not be able to complete questionnaire without answering at least to the 70% of the questions, otherwise notification will appear and instruct the user to go back to the unanswered questions using their numbers. Please note that if time restriction is applied to the Training or Test Questionnaire, it will not stop or will not be nullified and will continue while user goes back and answers missed questions.
7Questions - In the Test Questionnaire view you will see different kinds of questions created based on the Training Content: Simple Answer question, Multiple Choice Question, True/False Question, Correct Statement Question and/or Synthesize question. Each types of the question will have answers selection and scenario. For the completion of the Test Questionnaire, you should answer at least 70% of all questions For the successful passing of the Test Questionnaire you should answer 70% of all questions correctly.
8Questions Count - Monitor “Time Remaining”, “Total Questions Count”, “Answered” and “Unanswered” questions counts in the top right corner of the Test Questionnaire content slide.
9Questions Indicator - Placed at the top of the questions panel and is scrollable. By default questions are highlighted in grey. If the user skips the question without making answer choice then the number of the corresponding question in the panel will be highlighted in orange. If the user does selection of answer choice and is moving forward to the next question, previously answered question number will be highlighted in green. The numbers in the panel are active, so if you want to check the answer for particular question or move to the unanswered question which is highlighted in orange, click on that number and system automatically will move to that question.
10Time Restriction - We might set time restriction for the Test Questionnaires. You will need to answer all questions in the allotted time. You can use Back and Forward buttons as well. Once time is finished (if restriction is applied), Test Questionnaire will automatically stop and you will need to follow instructions on the screen.
1Certificate - Click on the “Download' button and you will get new screen with your Certificate in the PDF format.
2Contact Us button - Write your feedback or send any queries via 'Contact Us' function. Fill in the mandatory fields as indicated. We will review your message and answer as soon as possible.
3Failed Training - If the results of your training are below of the required level, you have failed it. If the user failed the training, GDG Professionals decides whether to give a chance for a user to re-take the training again or not. There will be no automatic attempt provided. User gets notification that attempt was unsuccessful through the Summary Page, as well as via email. User will need to contact GDG Professionals for further actions.

7Passed Training - In case of the successful completion, you will see corresponding notification on the screen and 'Download' button will be available.
8Submit Results - Click on this once you complete all questions in the Test Questionnaire. You will be re-directed to the Summary Page where you will see your results and the score. The process of evaluation of the answers user made is based on GDG Professionals assessment guidelines, where successful candidate should have at least 70% correct answers. Candidates falling below this limit are treated as failed.
9View the details - It is possible to check the questions that you failed to answer or have not answered at all. Click on the eye icon next to the Failed or Unanswered Questions indicator
